imperfection is no barrier
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
so many times we disqualify ourselves from having intimate relationship with God because we feel there is sin in our lives that will stop our ability to have a relationship with God. this is very inaccurate the times we struggle and fall short are the times that we require the Lord the most in our lives. Christ is the perfector of our faith perfect faith comes purely from the king of Glory Jesus Christ. Christ was pierced, broken and bruised for our salvation to bring us into union with the Father. The more awareness of the Holy Spirit is real and active in our lives the more we become like him in character, The devil wants to point out your shortcomings and make you believe that you are unworthy of having intimacy with God. This is a lie God is always calling us closer to himself in all our imperfections. You have permission to enter the presence of God to converse with the Holy Spirit no matter where you are at in your life. He loves you and always enjoys hearing from you.
